Abu Dhabi, UAE: Following its streak of recent achievements, for the third year in a row, Abu Dhabi University has recently been awarded the “Beyond Success” trophy of the Bizz Arabic Awards 2014, at a gala ceremony that was held at Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace. Organized by the World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB), the prestigious Bizz awards honors companies and organizations for business excellence in several criteria including: management systems, managerial leadership, quality of goods and services, creativity and innovation, social responsibility, and results, certifications and other recognitions.
Commenting on this recent accolade, Chancellor of Abu Dhabi University , Dr. Nabil Ibrahim expressed the University’s pride in receiving the “Beyond Success” award at the Bizz Arabic Awards 2014. “For three years in a row, Abu Dhabi University has succeeded in entering the ranks of the prestigious Bizz Award winners, in spite of the extensive evaluation process that goes into choosing the different winners by the evaluation committee. Adopting a quite complex and detailed method, the WORLDCOB evaluation committee works with a research team that compiles statistical data from market research companies throughout Europe, Africa and Asia, different chambers of commerce, industry, trade and tourism from around the world, as well as public relations companies, and references from over 3,000 members of WORLDCOB”, explained Dr. Ibrahim
“This recent addition to ADU ‘s most recent accomplishments including having entered the ranks of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) top 700 world university rankings of 2014 -2015 from among more than 3000 universities considered worldwide, as well as receiving international accreditation from the world-renowned Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET for three of our engineering programs, is a testament to our dedication to achieving excellence on all academic and organizational levels. It’s also a great incentive that encourages us to strive to achieve international standards and continue to provide top-notch education to the future generations that will help in implementing the policy agenda of Abu Dhabi’s Government and its Economic Vision 2030″, concluded Dr. Ibrahim.
