Unique opportunity for Schools to get leadership training from companies

unique opportunity for schools to get leadership training from companies Unique opportunity for Schools to get leadership training from companiesFor the entire month of November, starting with Corporate Social Education training at Hult University on November 3rd, 2014, Primary school and High school students will have the opportunity to learn at no cost leadership and soft skills from trained volunteers from companies around Dubai.

The brainchild of the Growing Leaders Foundation, Corporate Social Education programs mobilizes corporate employees in schools as part of their “teach what you learn” filed study in leadership training.

According to GLF Founder Sallyann Della Casa “ When we teach we tattoo our brain and thus it has to be a core element in how we learn.”

Students get exposed to non-cognitive skills training in areas such as empathy, connecting and presentation skills, team design and design thinking, financial literacy, sustainability and impact measurement and a myriad of skills (not taught in schools) they will require in life and the workplace.

Later this year, a case study on the impact of the Foundation’s work (changing mindsets of youth) will be published by the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.

In this region the Foundation has worked with several of the largest companies such as Mubadala, Abu Dhabi University, Al Futtaim Carillion, DLA Piper, Nestle etc. Over 1000 plus youth have benefitted from the program in the UAE alone. Globally the Foundation’s work spans over 17,000 youth and reaches across to the Caribbean.

This month trainings will be held at Hult University on Nov 3rd, DP World on Nov 13th and 23rd and DU on Nov 27th. Only 5 classes will be selected ( up to 25 students) . Schools are advised to sign up immediately at founder@growingleadersfoundation.com. or call 971-567549201.

Companies wishing to participate can sign up at http://bit.ly/1oOzQjr. Every paid company employee attending allows one University student to attend at no cost.
