Dubai, UAE: Murdoch University Dubai is set to celebrate the accomplishments of its graduating batch of 2014. The fifth graduation celebration will be held at Zayed University Convention Centre on October 31, 2014 and will be attended by the keynote speaker Mr Pablo Kang, Australian Ambassador to UAE.
Murdoch University Dubai for the third time will be conferring the annual Col. S.P. Wahi Leadership Award to the student who has displayed commendable leadership qualities, in honour of the former Chairman of ONGC – India’s largest Oil and Natural Gas Company, and retired Colonel of the Indian Army Colonel S.P. Wahi. Dubai International Academic City will also be recognising the efforts of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate valedictorians with the DIAC Excellence Awards.
The 2014 batch of undergraduate and postgraduate students are excited to embark on to a new phase of their lives as they join Murdoch Dubai’s growing alumni association of over 515 members which is a part of the Murdoch alumni family, a growing international community of over 65,000 members.
To welcome the graduating batch, the university will also be hosting a gala alumni dinner on November 1, 2014 with Mr Carl Dowling, Vice Chairman of the Australian Business Council in Dubai, as the keynote speaker and guest of honour for the evening.
