Dubai, UAE: The Ministry of Education announced the results of grade 12 exams of UAE’s public schools for the academic year 2014-2014, on Wednesday.
A total of 34,397 pupils sat for the grade 12 exams across the UAE.
Emirati pupils topped the list of top achievers in both scientific and literary streams.
The pass rate in the literary section was 67.8 per cent, and 89.4 per cent in the scientific stream.
The pass rate in public schools’ scientific stream was 93.1 per cent, and 83.3 per cent in the literary stream, while in private schools, it was 91.2 per cent in the scientific section and 83.7 per cent in literary stream.
In the scientific stream, Emirati Sara Abdul Rahman Ahmad topped the scientific stream with 99.9 per cent, and Egyptian Noorhan Salah Al Deen Ali who also topped the scientific stream with 99.9 per cent.
In the literary section, Emirati Hind Ali Salim Mohammad Al Kaabi topped the list of achievers, with 99.88 per cent, and Fatima Abdul Latif Mohammad Ebrahim came second, with 99.81 per cent.
