hamdan bin mohammad smart university grants 20 scholarships Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University grants 20 scholarshipsDubai, UAE: Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University (HBMSU) has announced that 20 scholarships will be awarded to outstanding high school learners as grants from Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMSU.

The scholarships programme, which has been implemented for the third year in a row, aims to help learners in their quest towards scientific and academic excellence and enable them to contribute effectively to the UAE’s overall development.

Shaikh Hamdan’s scholarship programme provides outstanding learners the opportunity to enrol at HBMSU’s e-School of Business and Quality Management and e-School of Health and Environmental Studies.

“We are committed to consolidating the culture of innovation, excellence and optimal investment in our human capital as an important component of our overall development,” said Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Police and General Security and Chairman of HBMSU Board of Governors.

The scholarship programme will accept applications immediately after the release of the 2014-2015 high school results.

Awardees will be selected based on the set criteria, including academic excellence, final grades and compliance with the admission requirements of the academic programmes.
